With every passing year, the likelihood that one of those items is sold to the GE decreases.

However, with every passing year the likelihood that your competitors, other players with older buy offers, mess up or are inactivated for some other reason (perhaps a fault on Jagex's end), increases.

So, keep the offers in. You've already made your choice. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity.

I saw an old player log in, get confused about how much max cash is, dump his santa in the GE, get max cash for it, and try to offer that for a phat. I told him to put max back in, wait a few months, and get his santa back.

This was maybe more than a year ago, I dunno.

But players get confused. New players will start, inheriting items from their parents. Partyhats are around. They can fill.

Inactives won't fill unless you're test buying. Inactives are different. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity.

There was a very odd case last year in the forums where a player posted that he had just sold his red phat in the ge accidentally, wanted it back.

People questioned his claim... then it showed in the ge history, highest value of recently traded items list.

All it takes is one buy offer in the ge and one guy to sell for a trade to happen. There are lots of phats around, probably lots of max offers too. But how many people can spend 10 years keeping a max offer going? I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity.

I've bought inactives before; only one sticks in my memory. I put in max cash, got a scythe, when they were just over max. I didn't make much.

Oh, and I have bought phats in the ge ni for max, but years ago. I've also flipped phats in the ge but again, years ago, when they were below max.

After writing that, I guess an offer on the new t95 staff could also be good. Or, if there's a bow coming, an offer on that when it comes out.
