There's not such a thing as clan merching anymore. Individual people have enough wealth to buy out items themselves. I know people with 20+ alts. They're smart enough to not crash a price of a discontinued rare, I highly highly highly (I cannot enforce my words enough lol) doubt any lower rare will drop in price again.

I don't wanna say I told ya so, butttttttttttttttt.

I hope your hat is firmly inside mouth.

Get rich fast schemes always attract alot of greedy individuals, even if like a pyramid, the ones on the top takes most of the profits, while those at the bottom succumb to losses.

If this behaviour is clan driven or member driven in somekind of society, this pump and dump scheme will just continue. When prices have fallen enough, the item will be bought out again, so the process continues over and over again.

It was way more gp and shards duped than other items, and its been in the economy way longer, and while being in the economy the prices still went up, while now falling hard. Something surely dont add up.

Anon (1 of the dupers) claimed they still have methods to dupe, just much harder. Doubt we have seen the last of this "duping panic". Either way, GP isn't something you want to have too much of since it's value can only go 1 direction at this point.

It makes more sense that they will continue to dupe GP in the form of shards and continue to throw it into rares, because they retain their value. If they just duped rares en masse they would become as common as yew logs, and there goes all their profits.

Albeit they did dupe rares too, but if there was really a huge increase in supply, this would have caused them to crash. It would have been reflected in the price. The opposite happened and they went up like mad, some more than doubling in a few weeks.

Everything is crashing now because of the shock of the news, the uncertainty. But in my opinion rares are still positioned pretty well. GP is something you don't want to be holding right now.
I'm known as Rich King Midas, and when you look at me, you'll see a king who knows a thing about his treasury. I never cared for women. I've never cared for wine. But when I count a large amount of money - ha ha - it's divine!
