Some posts above that are casting aspersions on another user's reports have been removed.
While it is allowed to state that you have a conflict with another user's sales report, it is still not permitted to flame them or make accusations, directly or implied, about them, or their motives. If you feel a reported trade is not accurate or is questionable, then just ignore it when you do your own price calculations.
Remember, everyone is encouraged to do their own research.
Original message details are unavailable.
It's become very difficult to manage and take action against price manipulations and therefor
we should no longer treat the forums as a source of truth and we advise everyone to do their own research before participating in discontinued and/or high value items.
Can we atleast let the conflict comment stay, so people know that there is a conflict?

Im curious. How do conflicts apply to non-GE trades? I actually am asking so I can use it in the future to improve research
a conflict refers to a trade which is invalid. this could be because the price is inaccurate or the trade never happened. in the ge this can be seen because there are lower/higher trades of said item, while non ge items can be conflicted because there hasnt been any sale at that said price or the item in the trade is at said time and date way higher than the trade posted. is what i imagine when i conflict a trade.
trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.
