Hi I wanted to talk about armour of seasons looks/rarity

Armour of seasons was created back in 2016 from a th promotion combing 600 of each material to make. Having 600 of each material made a full armour set making all pieces the same rarity. Back in 2016 playerbase was at an all time low so unfortunately not enough people were interested in making the sets Personally my favorite armour version is the spring version and favorite inventory look wise is the gloves. Although I personally have the crown and cloak I personally prefer wearing the armour.
I need my blue charms back.

I own some of the chests, but I gotta say... Ugly!

Update: Maybe summer (current season) looks nice. Some seasons are ugly though.

I believe “seasons” has a future for a few reasons.

1. They are discontinued holiday items.
2. F2P can purchase them.
3. Not many nice capes are available for those who are not maxed or have a 120 skill.
4. The Crown is a nice looking head item, now sits at 125m which is an affordable but still not a cheap head item for some, is ideal for those who cannot afford a RSH, H’ween, Holly wreath, BSH or a Phat, therefore it is the next cheapest discontinued head item below Green H’ween.
5. There is now not as many tokens for people to invest their money into anymore due to threat of oddment store, so high level marchers will need to find other items to pour their devaluing GP into and I see items like these being the next big thing once people catch into this.
6. We know their potential as at the start of the year these items were pumped hard, some up to 500m each (crown to 200m).

Only the cloak went that high, higher actually. The chest pumped when I was buying them 250m each.

They're scarce in the ge, but they exist.

This is huge, but usually the choice is between one rare or another. It's difficult to say seasons will rise faster than another rare.

They aren't clearly discontinued items. Even the FMods, who still consider the turkey discon, think seasons armour is not discon. Check the semi-official FMod list; it's on one of these pages.

I'm not taking a side. I'm just saying, Jagex hasn't made it officially discon. The turkey return suggests Jagex hates rares, but the reaction to the turkey return makes it seems likely they won't do that again.

I find it extraordinarily strange that Jagex doesn't like rares and rare tokens. Rares make RS unique, are probably the reason this game is still around. If RS becomes like every other game, then why would people play? Jagex keeps copying other games that aren't as successful as RS, haven't been around as long. They remove RS from its niche. In other words, I would have stuck with rares, and released more of them.

I do recall selling a cloak for 830 and then buying for 500-600 or something, reporting that buy on forums then watching the panic. Crashed back to 350 pretty quick before it re-rose to around 470 and stabilised :P Fun times

@PanicSell I bought a cloak for 450m and by a stroke of luck I got out at 728m right before it fell, phew talk about close call. There is proven upside.

@Elite Stack I rocked the whole set minus the crown at one point with my Holly. Love that it changes season kind of reminds me of a bard or something a philosopher would wear.

@Trip180 I agree with your rare token points. The oddment store scares me! Hopefully they don’t add discontinued tokens to it. I could get very hurt. Half of my investments are very safe, half is pure calculated risk. The oddments store is scary especially after seeing the Santa paws token show up. Says quick prayer please don’t do that again ;)

With that being said the only thing I have left of the seasons set is my pet which can’t be sold. Go figure I’m currently rocking it and have no idea of it’s current price

That Santa Paws Kitty sure is one scary cat when it’s in the oddments store

I remember selling a pair of gloves for 194m and at the time it was worth more then crown. Rarity wise the armour is clearly rarer then crowns from my experience and If I were to order all seasons items in rarity I would put armour as the rarest. Rarity somewhat affects the price of an item for example half wines have little to no demand yet they are 5x the price of santa hats.

1. armour of seasons (rarest)

2. cloak of seasons (2nd rarest)

3. crown of seasons.(3rd rarest)
I need my blue charms back.

But if you were to rank them by demand:

crown, cloak, armour.

So, it's tough to predict.

H'weens are rarer than red Santas.

I just see items like these becoming the new “safer” GP dump items now after all this token fright with the oddment store. Name some other items that you would dump your GP into now? Not many other choices…
