I have been cleaning samples in Varrok museum looking for the clean necklace to make the digsite pendant for 4.5 hours of game time- is this normal?!?

I am concerned there may be a glitch with my account. The only info I could find online said it should take around 45 mins. I read the odds are 1/50 but surely I should have got it by now? What if I am just so unlucky I never get it?

The whole task is tedious and unrewarding and really needs an update!

Yikes!!

I know that you can now use the archaeology book to teleport to dig site.

Not sure if having that addition changed anything about the dig site pendant :|
Hope the Arch book is an alternative you can use!

Normal from what I can gather. Spent 2.5hrs on mine.
The low rng chance is likely due to it being a important teleport pre Arch.

Don't put much stock in not obtaining it. Afk the cleaning.
Won't be long before Jagex just gives us all a any grid teleport with 0 cost.
I spend more time nickle and dimeing myself with what TP to use, then actually saved these days.

Make sure you haven't already found one, as you might have already found one and learned the enchant spell. You could try enchanting a ruby necklace, to see if it works.

If that isn't the case, keep trying. Hopefully, you'll find one soon.
