They shouldn't have released them like they did. Made them liars tbh. As a customer i don't like being lied to. Unlike the "rare items" made rare by the players (blue phat, red Santa, disk, pumpkin... you get it) these items are Jagex made rare items... Made to be rare. Released as limited and rare (numbered). Thats Jagex giving a word even if they don't word it like i am. They are only making themselves look dishonest.
Quick note: I support another wreath in the game. It was super limited (intentionally) and there is not another option in the game for players who don't like stuff like party hats but who specifically want a wreath like the holly, not druid or w/e. Give the noobs something to work with i agree with it! I would buy some too!

I however don't support the re-release of the same item under a new name. They could have changed its color. They could have covered it with little white and red flowers making it look redder and whiter instead of green, call it a floral wreath idk. But it DOES look like its intentionally trying to be a holly...
And get this: the holly is bugged! Mine is, I'm using one rn for holidays and when i use my OG holly keepsake it has an aura around it that becomes transparent making it look frosted. I can look straight down at my character and see through all my gear and everything where the outline of the wreath is. It gives it a "shimmer" that looks frosted if you can try to imagine that.
So, what exactly is the difference then if you don't heavily examine the item?? They re-released holly AND the scythe that was numbered at 5k. I don't like the scythe but the players who do are in the same boat. Following this logic, they will release an item called the "golden crown" that looks exactly like the golden partyhat. Just because they said it's a one-time thing. Why not lie to you (the customer) when they already are from the start?

I don't think they're "fake." It's nice to have new rares or just new quasi-rares.

We probably won't see more of this same type. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

Not identical, they all use the same model, but different textures and different art

The new Wreath and Scythe look a lot uglier and they do feel like a "fake" replica item from the Original ones

I see it as a fake Gucci purse, something I never will own because I'd rather get the original! :)

Super lazy design from Jagex, and idk why they even went with this... I'd rather see new cosmetics
