@Tuffty
I wanna try to restate a thing for clarity. if I found some nice vintage boots at an estate sale, like... say some santa rosa engineer boots like arnold schwarzenegger wears in terminator 2... I can -already- use ebay to search completed auctions and see how often such things have sold, at all, and see a range of sale prices probably related to condition.
ugly url paste please forgive:

our GE could do that, but its a lot of work for just Timbo to do it. They would need a minimum of 4 jagex guys to focus on making it for like 2 months, and then leave Timbo, or the next guy, in charge of updating it. They might do that eventually, but... its hard to see it being the same kind of thing that might lure in a new player, or returning player, as compared to like... new elder god wars dungeon third and fourth bosses.
as far as popularity contest and purity testing some "neutral" report guy goes... wooo. no way man. I don't completely trust anyone who plays. It'd reek of reddit post count shill (or gamefaqs before it where cabin fever types would post on every game "should I buy this game?" til they had hundreds of posts and undeserved powers to moderate the rest of the forum).
purity test has multiple meanings, but this was its origin, and its easy to see how the results would almost always be invalid.

I have quit rsof because moderator found comments about darklight bonus damage on demons "off topic" for wildy flash mobs full of demons
