fleeting vs flarefrost: help

So I think I won't be alone in this... the thing I wanted enhanced fleeting boots to do... be far behind raksha, launch rapid fire, and take a breath allowing all of the shots to come out and be rubber banded to raksha when he moves... that
doesn't
happen. In order for it to actually work you have to keep moving toward him to stay in range. I think.

Its new, I'm not sure, requires further testing, and I'll take feedback, advice, tip, whatever.

Should I click closer to him before I start rapid fire so I start moving toward him? Should I start it and kinda count the ticks? Should we beg jagex to rubberband rapid fire?

We don't quite have strafe in this game, and if we did then that'd be great, and I'm sure it'd work during a strafe.

At the moment I'm kinda feeling like I let go* of +2 pray flarefrost for +0 pray enhanced fleeting (died til the tips wore off, then sold the glaivens) and came up a lot short of where I meant to be with this. Maybe I'd feel better if the shadow spike added +2 pray?

At the least I think I have to advise that you try regular fleeting out first before you add a shadow spike, cause you might just want to keep flarefrost and not do this. I'm now signed up for using rapid fire without the mental respite... staying busy during the hits and moving ever closer. sigh.

p.s. I didn't actually take these to raksha for first test. I took them to greg on reaper task, and he teleports, and I assume teleport will always break rapid fire regardless of the boots. so... I could be wrong, but not totally wrong. thats what Im askin for help on... more feedback from hive mind please. I got a new fastest time at hard greg like 2:50 though, so somethin went right. yay.

the cost of repair and you can just use enhanced fleeting all the time without worrying that tips rocket back back up from 7m to 25m if slayers leave rune dragons or elite dungeons (glacor boots went way up as people stopped doing glacors). repair with coins. boots will pay for themselves eventually.

CON: rapid fire actually demands more, not less, thought about how/when to use.

I think. I'm still extrapolating what happens at hard greg to what happens at raksha, so somebody else testify to how it works at raksha please.
