Why are they like 90bill on a cracker lol I mean does that suggest players don't care about paying 90 bill extra for an item, estimates irl are no where near that difference even for some of the finest art, weird times we live in but what does it suggest about rs economy, too much gp no one cares?

quantity, quality, inflation, tomuch alch items,no money drain besides deaths and the well.

they are considering to make deaths cheaper or completely at no cost, when that happens look how rares will jump.

with the salvages the yearly income of alch doubled including the ed relics.

its economy responding to the game if you ask me.
trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

Low liquidity gives a big spread (the spread is the difference between the best bid and the best ask).

Artwork or antiques have comparable spreads.
If you want to insta sell a piece of art or antique to a dealer you wont get even halve of what they will try to sell it for. It happens when markets depend on a middle man and there is low liquidity.
The used car market also depends on a middle man (the car dealer) but the liquidity of used cars is very high so the spread is a lot lower in that situation.

If rares would be in GE the spread would be a lot lower though still considerable due to the low liquidity.

As someone many years ago out of the market whom actually stupidly fed their baby troll a cracker myself, I definitely hate to see the price at actually around 200B(?) :P . If the prices for these items have come this far for so long, you can probly' bet your sweet bippy that Jagex won't be stepping in.

Imo, the wrong people have obtained the ever-dwindling supply. Artificial or real demand, they capitalize on dictating whatever price they see fit to profit long-term to grow their own collections.

I regret not feeding one to a troll when I had them.

My old goal at one point: Blue phat, blue to lend (when couldn't have alts), and cracker troll. I did reach that, but I feared feeding to a troll, feared I'd mess up somehow or that it'd get reset at some point.
