Hmm, I wonder how much I could get lending them 72 hrs… I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity.

The new scythes and wreaths are a suttle way to test the waters of releasing very similar rares to older models, (in my opinion).

The scythes do look very good and i think there will be demand for them after the promo finishes, this is because:

-It can be equipped
-There are very few rares that can be held in the weapon slot.
-It genuinely looks good (for me)
-if people cannot afford an og scythe then this is easily obtainable and looks similar-just a reskin.
-Although they have not been confirmed as discontinued they will maximum be released once per year at christmas.


I also think at the current price, scythes/wreaths seem very cheap. I would like to guess there are less than 20k scythes and 20k wreaths in-game but I could be wrong.

These are my opinions, let me know yours

even the wreath looks a lot better than the original one. more detail was put into the newer models.

i have the OG scythe and to be honest all the different scythes that jagex has made sounds like cope from jagex moderators who did not make a player account in 2003. you will never have a real scythe jmods. sorry Buy Zemomarks / Chromatic Partyhats safely here

I wonder if after Santa's Grotto, there will be a count to how many are in-game, it was only a week-long event and I used over 1100 keys, got no Santa, 2 Scythes, and 8 wreaths.

20th-year anniversary. Third Santa in the game, second Scythe, and second wreath, I think they might be going back to discontinue items. I guess we'll have to see.
