I think thats mainly down to it looking like garbage. Its like a forest green? colour and previous 3 crowns are gold so it is like a downgrade from earlier crowns and there are tons of good looking head overrides (plus most 10+ year vets will already have a keepsaked rare usually) Mass contributor to deaths coffers.

This. It's probably not as rare a thing as you think, most just aren't wearing/overriding.
