I got very excited when I saw the title of this news post.. thinking OMG they've finally done something with obsolete in-game general stores to make them relevant again...
to read that you've just brought all the website purchasable s in-game so that they're there... in players face.

have no expectations, I am still learning this...
Why should useless content even in the RS2 era be relevant again? If there is anything Jagex want to do with the general stores, they should just remove all but one of them and put it in a single supermarket in the game. No saying such supermarket can't be in the Marketplace.
Yea, they like to spend a lot of development time on MTX.
And in terms of updating stores, I think one way they could do it is increase the stock in stores to make them worth going to for some players. Kinda like hides and meats. Could also have a rotating special, where stores buy certain stock at a good price, or sell stuff during a "sale".
I'm not even joking, I'd rather them do this and focus on awesome content on Solomon's than to ever even THINK about them releasing another Yak Track. At least with Solomon's, we were able to buy whatever we wanted and ignore whatever we didn't want. With Yak Tracks, we're forced into incessant grind, taking us away from whatever content we actually enjoy, all to get a bunch of cosmetics and items we don't give a crap about just to get the things that we DO want.
