Seeing you created a thread on how easy it is to earn gp in the game, you should know even low level players can make good gp in RS3. Boosted xp really don't take a dent in the RS3 economy.
The new players also seem to be ones with the mindset of AAA gamers too, otherwise Jagex won't be monetizing them the AAA ways in the Fresh Start Worlds. All indications so far suggest they are consumers who will boost the RS3 economy after Jan 15 rather.
