Why waste time manually updating when instead they could just change it to price being updated every 4 or 6 hours instead of once a day. Or reduce the amount of trade volume needed to affect the price, it can be done based on the items' trade limit or something.
This.
The action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.
There are loads more items that need updating just trying to help the community.
there are items with more remarkable discrepancies..
for example, a sand dunk resting emote token, in 10521 in ge, yet its actual get value is more than 1-200x the ge price, that seems kind of odd.
(another odd feature) on quick chat when clicking buying item, you can search for items, the "sand dunk resting emote token" doesnt show on on quick chat, thought that was rather bizarre
other examples Starfish balloon 123k ge med price, yet i have recently bought one for just under 20m, how can item valuation become so inaccurate, i could list so many other items, i just feel like posting all the items out of sync would crash the servers, as it would be to much data for the servers to handle.
(other balloons follow the same trend)
alot of items need a manual update, i think this would benefit more people, and perhaps discourage scam attempts.

I was trying to buy a keg pet on my f2p alt at ge someone was asking for 9m and he changed his mind. He was clearly influenced by the mid ge price but he changed his mind i almost made a free 150m+. I coulda ripped the hell off him too.

Using mid ge price to make an argument on the value is scamming. The fact that items are hoarded is irrelevant as hoarding items is a gameplay style.

ge prices update themselves corresponding to buy/sell transactions & buy/sell offers sitting in ge higher/lower then mid price.
and they won't manually update manip based items.
How is it ok for an item to be selling way over mid ge price and potential for ppl to be scammed based off that mid ge price? If it was an item selling way under mid ge price like large classic crates we would be fast to call them scammers so why can't it be the other way around too?
There is no evidence said items in thread are being manipulated.
Aside from the fact ppl can use ge price as scamming, It confuses alot of new and returning players why mid ge prices are way off from real prize. It needs more transparency.
