I wouldn't be too bothered if it did, but It'd seem a bit daft to give away something to do with Oxfam if the event has nothing to do with Oxfam. But who knows! it may get rereleased, picture a festive quest involving a FAMily of OX / Oxen. Lul Bob says:

Runescape in december

New quest: great rewards.

Yak track: Not a fan of how you can't even afford blood ice quake after finishing it as you only get 11 coins from finishing the track and it costs 16 to buy. Ice cube pet looks good though.

Advent calendar: sounds great. Will see how good the snowfall aura looks compared to my rainbow gaze. Maybe I'll change my gaze to the aura as gaze is hardly visible from a distance.

Presents from the sledge: Lackluster rewards unless green santa is in fact returning. Don't know why they didn't mention anything about green santa in the newspost. Titles will be cheap but the aurora dye will be platinum tokens 2.0. Same drop rate as santa prob. If I get a aurora dye I'm selling, idc about dyeing gear when I use low detail and most dyes look terrible in low detail graphics.

Free daily present: Sounds great if I can make it for daily reset on the 24th and get my presents.

Black friday: Again, useless as I've already bought all the items on sale. Solomon neglected once again. Or maybe by design, keep the same items on sale so ppl are forced to pay full price for the other cosmetics.

The Portable Snowfall effect is a cosmetic aura. You can find it in Customisations > Wardrobe > Filter by slot = Aura
