Runescape Twitter says Raptor might be headed to Fort Forinthry. They are speculating as to why. This information was buried under a stack of maintenance posts, and I am grateful for the timely updates. But people need to know.

Last time we saw Raptor it was an impostor. They had suddenly morphed into a used car salesman, and sold me a lot of nothing. It was free though, so I didn't make a scene.

If it's that version of Raptor, I have instructed Princess to lock the gates.

Otherwise, I am guessing Raptor heard about the fort and decided it was most important to tell me how unimpressive it is. Raptor's fort is far superior, it's probably located at the end of a rainbow and all the strongest monsters come to search for pots of gold. A natural trap.

Either way, if this is real, and it's triple drops, and it's used car salesman Raptor. That's my fort, and they can wait outside. There's nothing I can do about it. There are rules. The real Raptor can come inside.

The answer is: the brand new slayer undead Fetid Zombie, Bound Skeleton, Risen Ghost, and Armored Phantom coming up next week.

This actually sounds awesome. So Raptor is a slayer master, has 4 new monsters and we can get a new 2H magic ability.

I wonder what the drop tables will look like, since they are wanting to reduce alchables and skilling supplies.

MMORPG.com's article on Unwelcome Guests seems to imply that the Raptor may become a fully fledged Slayer Master instead of just being a routinely Slayer-adjacent character, but maybe we'll find out more on Wednesday. For as much sense as it would make for the guy to become one, I feel like there's a lot of Slayer Masters in the game already...

What we know for sure about the guy is that he's basically the Mandalorian but in RuneScape. He goes around and kills stuff for a living and we just happen to run into him from time to time. Sometimes Jagex makes him a limited event NPC, but when he's involved in the plot of the game, its in a very bounty hunter-like manner.

Jeremy Cheng may be on to something. Instead of being a Slayer Master, perhaps the Raptor becomes the Head of the Guard for us. We already know the Guardhouse will feature Slayer buffs (which, again, is the guy's thing.) Perhaps interacting with Raptor after another master gives us a task related to new creatures in a contract-like manner is how we earn those "trophies" and unlock the ability to get the ability as a drop?
