"Roll up, roll up, and grab your tickets for Leonard’s Lucky Dip! This daily event will run from September 1st to September 30th. Throughout the month, you'll be able to win Tickets through your usual activities, exchange them with Leonard in Burthorpe, and win amazing prizes you can't get anywhere else.

You might recognise this event as a spiritual successor to Balthazar’s Big Raffle, which last ran in September 2019. Aside from Leonard himself, who’s taken over proceedings, we’ve made a bunch of other improvements..."


So Balthazar's Big Raffle is back modernized and repurposed to Leonard's Lucky Dip!

One big difference is we can earn more tickets by participating in killing and skilling activities. What do you plan to do?

Hoping for an explanation of why he was replaced. I'll have to wait and see what prizes are available that day, then decide how many tickets to use for that day. Obviously for the days that are the cash rewards I'll put probably 2 tickets. Hopefully my 2 raffle tickets from last year have a use for this year's raffle.

Do you mean Balthazar? No, he is still managing the Big Top circus we see every week.

Balthazar probably got rich from running the Raffle and he took his time traveling around Gielinor and off the Raffle business for 2 years, until he recently hired Leonard as the CFO of his expanded business. :)

I'm very happy with the raffle changes this year.

I think as you've said on another thread, it has gone from pay to win to play to win. That sums it up nicely.

Additionally, the old raffle favored "altscape". In some cases, players with a large number of alt accounts (1,000+) were able to greatly rig the raffle in their favor. These changes, combined with the total level requirement should help make the raffle fair and exciting. The 250 total requirement makes sense. I'd go as far as increase that requirement to 400-500.

Agree with doing more to prevent this. It is unfortunate that players have gotten away with this in the past, and whilst I like that something has been done to lessen the impact of this I don't believe it is enough.

With the various TH promotions over the years, 250 total lvl for many alts is super easy. I personally think a rule making raffle rigging against the rules and banning any accounts associated with it to be a smart move. Against Raffle Rigging since 2015

Remember to skill and kill as usual... or more if you prefer as we will also get free tickets from skilling and killing from Leonard's Lucky Dip. Skillers and killers can "rig" the raffle that players with just alts and no play can't. :)
