I really like the idea of the Hero Pass and am excited to see it in play. I would suggest however that women in the game have little desire for more clunky masculine armor. Perhaps every now and then Jagex could throw a more feminine outfit or two into the mix?

Wait and see, there will be female variants of the cosmetics that weren't shown initially.

In all fairness, I suspect (on the basis of many past forum threads about it) that many women in the game would prefer 'clunky' armour options to ridiculously sexist and revealing ones.
