Maybe each letter of the capitalized LIVE is intended to be pronounced individually, similar to XP or OK. In that case, we can sing the following to the melody of "Y.M.C.A." by The Village People:

"Double XP has been changing in RuneScape. For a long time you were all very accustomed to our typical Double XP Weekends. This evolved last year with the introduction of Double XP Weekend: Extended, which initially offered 36 hours of doubled XP gain over 10 days, but then grew to 48 hours.

But there was an obvious problem with Double XP Weekend: Extended - 10 days is an awfully long time for a weekend. Although thinking about it, we like the idea!"

It reminds me of a company I once worked at. They announced, with great enthusiasm, the new corporate logo. "It embodies the vision of our potential!" "It speaks of our core values and integrity!" "It's modern!" "It's dynamic!" ... It was... a rectangle... a single-colored, rectangle. They explained how its four corners represented the.... well, something... I've forgotten.... Double XP LIVE is exciting, really... exciting. You can tell it's exciting because LIVE is capitalized. :) But (like the rectangle) couldn't we have done better? How about.....

"Double XP. Double Fun" (It's a double double.)
"Double XP Party" (That seems to work well for Nintendo.)
"Double XP L!V3" (Maybe that's too retro... Use it for OSRS.)
"Double XP-a-palooza (It's fun to say, and it's fun to play.)
