Hello, So yesterday i was doing 2 hard clue scrolls i got from drops. When i completed the first hard clue scroll, I got 1.1m worth of items + a master clue scroll. I was very excited about it and so i did the master clue scroll which took me about 5 hours because i had to do some mini-quests and other things to do some scrolls. In addition, I had to buy about 6m worth of items to wear for emote clues which I ended up reselling but for a lower price. In the end, when i opened it I got 400k worth of items. I truly feel like this is broken. A master clue scroll which took about 5 hours, which is like 10 times what it would take me to do a hard clue scroll, does not give me anything valuable. In that 5 hours waste of time, I could have done so much skilling or questing. I really think the staff needs to better the rewards. I know that clue scrolls are supposed to be based off luck, but there has to be common sense. You cant give us master clue scrolls with 6-8 trails which sometimes you cant even complete, and in the end, not give us any valuable rewards. Like that just simply does not make sense.
All you said apply not just to Master Clue Scrolls but all tiers. If you don't have the skill, level or other progression requirements, you can reroll another scroll if you have a Globetrotter Backpack or buy skip tokens with clue scrolls points from just completing scrolls, exchange it for a lower tier one at the Club Scroll Hub, or simply drop it. There is no obligation for you to buy all the requirement outfits items etc if you don't want to.
That said, in case if you don't realize, there are plenty of good updates like the CS Hub and Globetrotter Outfit added to the RS3 clue scroll system so the old sucky clue scroll system without alternatives and varieties are a thing in the past.
