Sounds very much like some key NPCs, likely gods are going to die like Guthix.

What tumultuous and status-quo shaking events do you think are coming?

I think Zamorak is going to attack the Seren Council. In defense, the gods united and we are going to have to kill or banish Zamorak. I guess some gods are going to die or be incapacitated as the stories move along, paving wave for the next generation of gods and heroes.

Mod Jack already said we are going to see more of Moia and Hebe in action.

Guessing you haven't heard about the Extinction quest.

- Jas is effectively dead, having been pulled into Erebus (the shadow realm) by something even bigger than Jas
- Kerapac is there too
- the previous revisions' elder gods are dead, and Iaia was sacrficed to bring out chibi versions of bik, wen, and ful
- Seren opted to stay with them forever on the dead world of Iaia
- The elder god wars dungeon is effectively over as everyone who isn't dead just packed up and left

So given that the 6th Age has had a pretty major theme ... "death of the gods" or "fall of the gods" ... with Guthix at this point only being the first domino to fall ... but it was a pretty major one leading to this cascade effect.

Jas and Kerapac aren't really dead. They are banished to Erebus, although whether they can return or when is the question:

Wen, Ful and Bik aren't really dead either. Their bodies are dead, but their memories are transferred to the next gen Elders. That's why they recognized Seren and didn't kill her.

The "tumultuous and status-quo shaking" events aren't the "dead" of the gods. There are something coming starting with The Fifth Boss: Zamarak,
"and we're only just getting started".

I really hope not. Killing off Gods is not exactly exciting. So I hope we are going to get invaded in some way or form. or that we are going to be using the World gate more and traveling to different worlds in search of answers or an new home.

Would be interesting to see the next story line for 2022-23. Time to follow an trail of Treasure.

I am not sure about travelling to different worlds as most of the worlds have been destroyed or made uninhabitable. I think the more likely scenarios is we travelled to and from the future of Gielinor, but we need to fix the broken Needle first.

Zamorak and Saradomin will destroy one-another. Their daughters will, at first, have more reason to fight each-other to avenge their father(s) but will be forced to work together when another power appears (probably abyssal). Putting aside their differences, they'll team up like their fathers did / bond over their similarities rather than their differences. I can see the next chapter or quest-line being very 'moral / ethical'. The whole 'history repeats itself' and 'we won't be like them' thing will likely be a centrepiece. That's my prediction anyway.

I also think Zaros or some other dark energy being will try and make their own Anima?



But this is a pretty 'wild' guess. Bob says:

Not just Zammy, not just Sara but perhaps at least Armadyl, Azzanadra and Itchlarin will be goners soon too.

That makes even more sense for Runescape's Next Gen... or 6.5th Age?
