With less than a month til we rise with Necromancy, it is about time to learn something about the First Necromancer, Rasial.

Someone has brought up an interesting theory of Rasial being Misalionar, one of the very few First Age Gielinor dwellers mentioned in Jagex histories that aren't Dragonkin. He first appeared in Meeting History and then later mentioned on the 2017 Easter Event.

Misalinonar = No, I'm Rasial?

It fits nicely so. Under this assumption it will be even more interesting to know who killed him and who resurrected him.

We see the colors of Green and Purple on the Necromancy reveals. Misalionar would be the Green one obviously as he was the disciple of Guthix on runes we have been using since 2001. Now that there is also a Purple part.

Interestingly, before the RS3 team can make more information of The First Necromancer visible, the RS Wiki is already showing us The First Necromancer quest series:

Alpha and Omega means the first and the last. So is it going to be the Last Necromancer too?

The first thing i thought of was - Raziel - Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2

Two powerful and highly evolved vampires:
Kain: an all-powerful demigod,
and
Raziel: a demonic angel of death.


"Demonic angel of death" would seem very fitting for a first necromancer
