Hi guys,

I think I may have sussed out the next Area Rework and my theory is...

Rellekka!

The logic behind this is that with each system update I see more and more content slowly being added to the area.

New voice acting, area soundtracks are being reworked to orchestral/professional quality... subtle changes that if you wasn't listening or looking out for it, then you wouldn't really notice.

Thoughts?

Probably somewhere small. kinda like when they update the area around the dwarven mining camp (around the invention guild) or area around the archaeology guild

now if you're aiming at "big", since they mentioned in the last live stream they'd focus on the new player experience, I'd figure they will go after Varrock or locations on the F2P map that haven't been updated since before 2013.

Burthrope and Lumbridge. Mod Warden answered the question already.

They are probably going to focus even more on the newbie community training aspects in these already updated newbie areas. No newbie needs to kill boring rats and goblins alone perhaps if they can party in the Lumby crater and the Burthrope event hub.

I'd say leave Lumbridge and Burthorpe as is, they're fine as they are.

Who plays F2P nowadays apart from botters?

Almost all new players start with f2p, of course, but they convert to members in RS3 eventually.

Don't forget in RS3, member hang out in f2p regions like Lumbridge and Burthrope a lot because of live events and sharing portable skilling stations.

They can use more modernization to make event hubs more like party places. Community karaoke and dance floor, anybody? :)

Wasn't there supposed to be a Seer's Village rework like 4 years ago? Lmao.

They talked about reworking Seer's Village
AND
Catheby many years ago. They called for ideas including ones from these RSOF but didn't get enough good feedbacks and they decided not to rework Seer's Village long ago. They did go ahead and rework Catheby years ago though.

They basically took too long and scrapped it due to being outdated again, albeit I personally wouldn't get behind that logic, since this literally is a RSC area as it stands right now and even some 2015-esque design in a 2021 world would be much better than that - but fine - their decision to throw everything away.
Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2
Quick Fixes: Invention
