The new skill is here and theres loads to do, however not everything is here and theres still alot of content missing, Here's a few point's i've personally noticed that is incomplete or missing altogether

- Theres no Hard or elite Um Tasks, however jagex have already mentioned these will be added later.

- Talent Points go to 41 despite not having any use beyond the first 18.

- Well of souls has a huge jump between 8,500 and 35,000 with nothing to earn except a single spell.

- From level 100 theres only a few alteration glyphs and an additional conjure upto 110 and then nothing till 120.

- Talking about conjures we can only conjure 3 so far, yet at 106 it gives the option to conjure a 4th entity despite the fact we only have 3 and can only summon 1 of these at a time.

- War's Wares have an aura for every combat method which increases range, magic, melee depending which one you use at the cost of defence for 25,000 marks of war yet theres no aura for Necromancy.

- If you recall when fort forinthry was released jagex said it will later be intertwined with the new skill necromancy, how do you think this will work and what can we expect from the undead fort.

as i find more things that is missing I'll update this list but overtime im hoping everything listed will be addressed with future content

speculation, I think there will be more talents added between 8,500 and 35,000, War's wares was probably overlooked but im sure they are aware of it now i can't be the only one to notice this.

We know almost all of these are coming. RS3 just can't tell us the details now. We probably will see many of these things by November, if not earlier.

They have also talked about hard and elite City of Um Tasks, skill tree and other talents. They are a lock to come. We just don't know what requirements and rewards now.

also noticed theres no necromancy at all in daemonheim so could add in some necro into dungeoneering and perhaps drop a few new rewards into the shop while they are adding archaeology

The new Ancient Awakening quest coming out in a month and the 3rd Necromancy Boss and Community Hitlist coming in November will probably give us a lot of new content and future outlook on new Necromancy Achievements, items, NPCs, etc like auras, new gemstone, new and remastered mobs like the 4th Rex Matriach, Smoke Nihil/The Magister/Kerapac etc becoming Necromancy focused among a lot of suggestions on the community's wish list. Most of these future updates have been briefed indeed.

I don't see why we need new alteration glyph updates when the xp is already high that they are actually cutting it down a little, and the non-xp rewards have been steady and lucrative already. I think we will see Transmutation glyphs rather, as RS3 has recently told us mementos will be transmutable into something else, and the transmutation mechanics for Necromancy are most logically Rituals and Glyphs.

Why do we need more summons when we can add more buffs to the summons. Quality is much better than quantity. "More" doesn't mean better, and I believe BETTER is what RS3 and Necromancy becoming. What I see here is future expansion of the Skill Tree which has been briefed many times. We are going to have more and power minion controlling abilities instead of more minions. The Necromancy Skill Tree will grow from a sapling now to a much bigger tree.

It's just something to note there's literally nothing but alteration glyphs from 106 all the way to 110 then after that nothing Nada

When reaching 106 necromancy you unlock the ability to conjure 4 spirits yet 3 is the maximum so is the level 106 content useless or is it for something yet to be released,

Everything written here is speculation based off of gaps and spaces that have yet to be filled from unlocks that have no use to items that are missing, along with huge gaps of nothing like the well of souls and the level tree beyond 106, would be interesting to see what's going to be added at level 115 or 118 and what could be added to the talent tree since there's 23 useless points that one can obtain I've got 20 so far and unlocked Everything

I think there will be new glyphs, pretty sure about them, but it seems like transmutation glyphs are more likely first. It is already mentioned in almost every time the RS3 team could talk, the skill trees will be expanded and we will get new abilities for sure. That 23 skill points won't be useless.

We also don't have any gear from above T95 for a skill capped at 120. There is definitely a gap too, I don't expect to see all gaps filled right away. So the elite version of T95 may take us to T97, but there is a still a very long way to get to 120.

The Um tasks make sense given that you had a new area but a limited amount of content.
On the flipside, they ... for some reason ... made a lot of the area achievements (ie: unlocking all of the prayers, making and wearing some of the armors) not the Task related. So they lost out on the chance to fill in a few slots.
You can imagine making a super or extreme Necromancy potion fitting in.
Planting something in the mushroom patch.
Doing a ritual with 3 different Alternation Glyphs III

But yeah, until they add more content for the skill ...


The talent points was probably just to give themselves leeway depending on what they wanted to release in the future. Pretty easy to shoehorn in 2-3 more talents with the next batch release. This way, players can at least make progress without having a case of getting 120 or 200m XP and then having to do Necromancy combat all over again just to unlock the new talent(s).

We'll see some new rituals.
You needed the souls.
You needed to be able to make ink.
You needed to be able to make the armor upgrades.
The impure essence is useful.
There's plenty of room for them to come up with new rituals for something.

Personally I'd love to see rituals that let you do:
- Converting Ectoplasm into Ghostly Essence and vice versa. Charge your Ectoplamator with the excess Ectoplasm from rituals. OR if you somehow have Ghostly Ess you don't use but use a lot of ectoplasm, here you go.

- XP gain using your invention components as a ritual focus. We've got Invention components that have no use. Junk. Spiked. Spiritual. Knightly. Use them as fodder for a T90+ ritual that has no outputs besides XP.

- Exalted Communion Ritual. Imagine being able to use some of the Slayer Trophies like KQ head, KBD head, Fire Cape, Abyssal Demon Head, as a higher XP and higher soul count communion ritual. Sure you might not be able to do it too often.

A thing I would like to see is a larger collection of helpers we can summon. As it is now, we can summon three, but they are the same three for evey player. Why not have 10, and then make us select which three we want to use? That would make it more varied and more fun. If, for instance, I don't need a healer, then let me select another one instead, or if a monster is immune to poison, then some other helper could be better than the zombie.
