id say even though quests tied into the new skill, it might be neat to have a fort graveyard that ties into the skill.
were also still missing the rex matriarch that was mentioned however that is a jmods brain child so we'll see how long that takes.
were missing alot of different combat gear as well
-specific boots and gloves similar to dino boots
-necklaces and rings both in and out of demonheim (i think a blood necklace would be nice)
-a 2h weapon, i even drew up what i think it could look like on twitter
but ye theres definitely alot they can add into the new skill, but we cant forget that mage and range are still missing t95 outfits too. melee and necro are the only ones at t95 in terms of armor.
pssst....we know who you are. Hail Sithis!
The immediate future is pretty clear from the lore side, as in the current Game Jam in progress, RS3 Jmods have presented a Necromancy quest with the release of the new Rex Matriach, as well as the new Daemonheim Digsite. They have been working on these projects since the last Game Jam and are ready for internal playthrough, so they probably will come in the very next chapter of the Necromancy saga.
Pretty much this shows the next chapter of Necromancy will have us adventuring into the open world outside the City of Um. We know at least we are going to Anachronia and Daemonheim. Unsurprisingly so from the lore, Necromancy is heavily related to Daemonheim with Vos, Xau, Tak involved, now that we just need the next Necromancy Rex quest to tell us how are the Dragonkin linked to it perhaps.
So far noting is claimed by Jagex what will happen with necromancy.
All we can do is speculating what will happen.
I personally do not think necromancy will be tied with dungeoneering.
I do think they put the dungeoneering necromancers are put in the necromancer quest because of there names, not because any story related.
I also do not think all praises mean much now in all honestly and just there to fool us around.
Jagex is known to toy with these things they did this plenty times in the past.
Remastering existing bosses like The Magister, Amby, Kerapac and such, as well as new abilities seem to come first and soon, after the new Rex Matriarch and Daemonheim Digsite, before we get more new Necromancy gear later.
I'll think we can dye Necromancy gear first before new Necromancy gear, and the dyes may come with the new tiers of Clue Scrolls.
