Among all the game modes in OSRS (GIM, Leagues, DMM, Mod Ash's LMS Game mode within game mode, Mod Kieran's easy/hard mode OSRS etc), the only one I like is Leagues.

I think Leagues may be good in RS3 if it is implemented the RS3 way. It must fit into the ecosystem of the full RS3 game. It must have a story closely related to the ongoing story line but perhaps in an alternate reality like Dimension of Disaster. The reward should be more useful in the main game than just pure cosmetic.

Anybody like to see RS3's own version of Leagues?

Personally the only way I would like to see an RS3 league is that the following is true:

Purely an ironman mode
No MTX At all
No need to make an another account to play it.


But it should also be unique and not copy and paste from OSRS. That would just lead to more bitterness between the two communities and not help anyone. Time to follow an trail of Treasure.

I seriously doubt any content in RS3 will be limited to ironmen. They want the full game to be accessible to as many categories of players as possible.

RS3's League is going to be their own unique IP with their already long established story line. RS3 Leagues in different years should have the same storyline going and going and going forward into the future in each iteration.

Don't worry about RS3 copy and past from OSRS as we know it has always been OSRS copying RS3. Shattered Relic League is just borrowed idea from RS3's Mysterious Monolith.
