Over max gp trade thru GE

We are having a break through in handling GE trading soon, a big one indeed.
For the first time in Jagex history, we are going to be able to trade any items for any prices over the GE in RS3. No stupid spirit shards and platinum tokens are needed whatsoever.
Spirit shards are going to be dead right?
Spirit shards used for trading over max cash? Yes
Spirit shards in general? Nope
Though I am sure someone is going to test the limit of the GE prices and whatever that number is, the shards will come back. Time to follow an trail of Treasure.

Though I am sure someone is going to test the limit of the GE prices and whatever that number is, the shards will come back.
The thing is death cost is coming down so many more will be going after the loot and more likely than not big ticket loot will come down over the longer run too. We already saw FSOA going down to the 3b range and Zuk Sword is hovering around the max cash range.
Besides, I think in RS3 players don't really care that much about the 1% GE tax as we make money much easier in plenty of ways so the vast majority of players will still be trading thru GE as trying to trade with players will be in most cases not worth the time and extremely boring.
Partyhats among other discontinue rares may be a different story though as trading is very thin and those are about the only things players will still try to trade outside GE with shards.
