Worlds is now launching on September 26th 2022.

Well...
I am no longer able to participate
I am happy the competitive period ends on christmas.
That's something.

They probably will delay whatever competitive period by 2 weeks and the end date of FSW by the same 2 weeks too.

Sorry if this has already been answered i've glossed over questions and the announcement and have a few questions.

They stated the Fresh start world is to allow players to start anew and bring the character to the main game, it also showed that you needed a new character to participate in the fresh start world. I'm a big participant in the annual membership club offered at the beginning of the year and find it kind of bothersome to start a new character just to participate, not to mention the loss of all the cosmetics we have acquired over this time. I wouldn't mind having my skills reset, maybe even my bank reset just to participate in the fresh start world with an account i already have a membership on and carry that progress over at the end of the event and allowing the cosmetics we have acquired over the years to still show off as we play.

I think this period is quite of a stretch.

People will get their 99's and 120's in less than two weeks
Especially initial rate is 1,5x not 1,0x

Isn't this great for you if you think people will get their 99's and 120's in less than 2 weeks?

If all it take is 2 weeks to get 99's and 120's perhaps you can just find the a couple of weeks and get yours too. Remember there are 4 full months of FSW.

All the cosmetics and items your FSW character get can be transferred to your main. Absolutely no problems there. You won't lose a thing. Your main remains your main and you can even play both your main and your FSW alt at the same time. Your main will never be reset.

I do in a way like the bond usage to get existing players in instead of a whole new sub. But there are a few questions about FSW that i wonder if they will address

So they said a passcode for a bond, since they said you can only buy/sell 1 bond per week does that only mean GE or that include trades? Cause it would be like 8 bonds for the event unless they would allow use to trade 8 from the very beginning and cause the "main" account cant enter FS worlds exactly. maybe more details in the next week or so.

As for as rewards:

Inverted capes: We can buy as many as we want but we only get 1 tradeable token? or how does this work

All rewards: they say in the "future" most will be available. Would they even tell us if it will be earned in the main game and not TH. Like full complete all skill achievements etc for inverted and like 200m for inverted 120

I think you can bond up with as many as you need via your main account being the one acquiring the bonds and redeeming them all for membership codes you use on your Fresh Start account. (The limitation on bonds is supposed to be enforced on participating accounts that would be able to trade the bond for RSGP.) So if your main is redeeming the bond for the codes, then you probably only need to write down as many codes as you need to obtain membership for the whole event, while you have no need whatsoever to acquire a bond with your Fresh Start account.

Process wise (speculating here):

> obtain bond on main.
> redeem bond on main for access code.
> use the access code on your fresh start account.

Jagex may not know exactly how they want to introduce inverted skillcapes into the main game yet, thus they have no information to share. Until then, it's entirely possible for anything to happen, such as relegating them to a different limited time event like FSWs but aimed at the existing playerbase, relegating them to an actual in-game achievement, or even making them obtainable through microtransactions. For now - Jagex only wants to assure players that they aren't just "missing out" on these rewards, and that existing players shouldn't feel "pressured" to participate.

yeah, it shuts up some and then makes another group of people mad. lol

TBH, I don't see anybody getting "mad" because of the change in skilling pet drop rate. Vast majority of players love boss pet far more as we can easily seen everywhere.

no, there's definitely people who aren't happy with this change. lol like i stated before, the halo pets are cosmetic overrides and don't actually unlock the pet in main game. so there was no reason to change it.

atleast they dont want most the of the player base to miss out of certain rewards but worries me since TH is their usual go to to release past items to new/existing players.

I guess just have to wait in the next few weeks for more details about these bond codes

Definitely not. Past events items most commonly are released through new but similar events. For instance, Beach and seasonal event items came again in modernized Beach and Seasonal event. Event past TH cosmetics can be obtained outside TH
