Like the last eight years or so - go collect present paper by playing the game and turn it in for christmessy stuff. Last dedicated christmas quest in addition to that was in 2017, afterwards we had had the violet quests twice (and a third one could have been fitting after a year of break, but alas...). Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

i started playing in 2004, and have loved playing the holiday quests every year. sadly now the holiday quests have since been made into holiday content and are brandished with cosmetics that require little effort to gain. and to add insult to injury the cosmetics you get are rng, so to get the high tier rewards you have to rely on "luck" to get them or spend your bank to buy from another player. other holiday content like the halloween one is basically a grind fest allowing you to accumulate tokens to buy the cosmetic unlocks which isn't as bad since the previous halloween events had questing content but the rng skill n kill holiday content is only beneficial to those lucky enough to win the better prizes and sell for high profit. woe are the days gone where we could help santa every year.

Santa didn't show up in many many RS2/RS3/OSRS Christmas events for us to help, in case if you don't know. Santa is not the one Christmas NPC. For instance in previous years, we had Violet instead of Santa, and we also had Jack Snow and Queen of Snow in lieu of Santa in earlier years.

@dilbert. I will only reply to you once, i was referring to the days when jagex used to submit quests for every holiday. I.e. halloween, christmas, easter and the like etc. Not when they first introduced santa but when they introduced holiday quests into the game. Temporary quests that could only be completed around the holiday it was relevant to. It is ridiculous to assume i meant 1 holiday event in particular seeing as i have been playing for near 20 years and am well aware of runescapes update past and have been a part of every holiday update since joining. Maybe next time pay attention to the actual comment and do the math.

RSC/RS2/RS3/OSRS never used to submit "quests" for EVERY HOLIDY. In many years they didn't even have Holiday Events (e.g. in 2001, 2004, 2013, 2014, 2018 and 2021 they didn't have Easter Events), let alone Holiday Quests. Even in years when Jagex ran Holiday Events, very often they weren't quests. The classic examples were the dropping of Santa Hats, Holloween Masks, Easter Eggs and such now discontinued items in classic Jagex Holiday EVENTS, without even a single NPC for us to talk to let alone QUESTS.
