Perma Ring of Charos effect? Thread is locked

no support - this would de-value all the hard work I put in through the years to finally obtain the ring of Charos and wear it proudly. I would be so salty that I would be able to float in my bath.

I go for a no support.
This because there are many chat option you are not able to do if you use the ring.

If they make some options for this i go for a support but permanent and exclude the non Charos options no support.

I support. Anything that encourages bank cleaning sounds cool to me. (Even if there is still plenty of free space left.) Imagine one day when there are no quest items that we'd require in our banks 24/7.... and it is mainly just loot and skilling items.

My bank right now is pretty filled up, so I really need to get on to serious work on it soon. (No telling when.)

Obviously, if it means locking out non-Charos events, that could be unfortunate, but I doubt the devs would do it that way?
My guess is, you'd be given a dialogue at the very beginning that lets you pick whether to use the effects of Charos or not. (Similar to how you pick which Quest to talk about with some NPCs.)
And even if it were to lock out some non-Charos events, it would probably be because they don't make much a difference anyway. Use those smileys! :) Express your inner character! :D Yeah! Go for it! :P

I wouldn't be surprised if this happens at some point now that Charos has become a fairly important character in the lore. We'll probably get a quest at the end of the Elder God Wars that will serve as the narrative conclusion of that plot arc; given how much Charos has become part of that arc, perhaps Charos could teach us his ways as a quest reward?

Charos, Thok, Hannibus and Laniakea are the new de facto Signature Heroes. I'll guess we may continue with Hannibus and the Iaia story soon after the final report of Effigy Incubator due out in 10 days.

However, Charos' ring is pretty useless. I'll guess Charos' Clue Carrier may get an upgrade someday later rather.

The ring is one of those things you don't really need but it is helpful when doing certain activities. Plus, it makes you feel like a jedi.
