MOD CAMEL, ABE, FOWL & RAIN: UNDEAD REX MATRIARCH
Skeletal Trex. Not much more to be said honestly. Mods Camel, Abe & Fowl have been cooking up a 4th Rex Matriarch!


What do you think? What will it drop? Combat style? Lore? Requirements?

a boss pet of itself and heart of the osseous in line with the matriarch hearts to improve the effects that the upcoming necromancy jewellery will have. Lorewise, it'll be the first necromancer experimenting with control of osseous. Maybe the matriarchs will object to rasial doing this to osseous and will help the player in the boss fight.

the good news is that they've got a little bit of time to get it in before the end of the year. might not be ready for launch of necromancy, but probably wouldn't hurt to have a mid-upper-tier boss come out a short while after launch

It is a GameJam project, I am pretty sure it is not part of the core Necromancy skill, but a bonus, a very nice bonus, in addition to all the revealed and yet-to-be-revealed Necromancy content before August 7.

It is going to come after Necromancy, as we have been told Necromancy will launch with two bosses, and we know they are Hermod and Rasial, the First Necromancy. The 4th Rex Matriach is yet another extra bonus only.

"Continued with the Necro Rex Matriach this gamejam with @JagexAbe and Mod Rain. Focus was on balancing the fight while using necro. We also started a quest that unlocks access to the boss and makes use of the area outside. Shoutout to @JagexAlex for the environment updates :) "

Mod Camel confirmed the 4th Rex Matriach is Necromancy. There will also be a quest similar to the one unlocking Raksha coming with the new boss. The best guess is there is Necromancy lore behind Necro Rex Matriach.
