it took me a while to complete the new quest, because I wanted to gain all my skills to level 99 simultaneously via a celebration lamp. I recently did that a few days ago and have now had time to do the new foundations quest and fully appreciate it for what it is and ingest the underlying themes.

just wanted to share my love for this quest and congratulate jagex on well job done. personally I found the theme of building a wall to protect ourselves from a dangerous neighboring land hit me very close to home and I was so glad to see the perfect execution here. the fort itself is also beautiful and love to see so many players use it to protect them from the wilderness horde just on the other side as we continue to train on dxp in portables world with hundreds others.

excellent quest and activities here, reminds me of m&s rework. great storyline that people like myself can personally relate to. hope future content expands on this, maybe defending the fort from brigades of monsters trying to cross over, and even escorting some that past the defenses back to the side they came from. I think there's a lot of potential here, would not be surprised if there was a new quest where people who live across the map in yanille/ardy/gnome village disparage the wall and call it offensive despite being an obvious necessity for the people of varrock.

great skilling area and m&s mechanics applied here, I love the idea of using fewer materials but taking longer to gain more xp, instead of the old format of just quick burn materials for little exp and repeat forever. this has great replayability and the backstory behind it all is one of a kind. looking forward to future content in this area and doing whatever we can to protect the borders of varrock from its dangerous neighboring land Buy Zemomarks / Chromatic Partyhats safely here

Hopefully Jagex will continue to add content to the fort.
Some more hotspots to build things would be nice, even if the stuff isn't overly useful. For instance, another brewery would work well. Guess we'll see...

Should be soon. We probably will have plenty of new stuff to play with in a couple of weeks when the other new Murder quest comes. :)
