i have a question for everyone if you have multiple accounts but have different email addresses can all those accounts with different email addresses be linked to 1 jagex account also i would like to here peoples opinions on the pros and cons of this because i'm scared to do it.

I was able to add all my characters to the Jagex account. I was nervous too so I made the account and added an alt I didn't mind losing if it went wrong. I tried it out for a few days then when I felt happy it was working OK I added the rest of my characters.

was you able to add them even if the email address was different to others?

I not tried but the Q+A section says yes.

I would like to know if I can use an email address for the Jagex account if I already use the same one for one of the RS accounts or do I need a new one?

Yes, characters with different emails can all be imported iinto the Jagex account.
Yes, you can use an email for the Jagex account that's already attached to one of your characters.

I've been using it for a few months now and its been really nice to have. Having everything tied to 1 account and not having to manage separate accounts...and better security (like case sensitive passwords, able to change the login email.

I do wish i could mark familiar devices to not have to request the auth for 30 days for the website, but the way the website works now from the homepage, that's not a big deal anymore.

EDIT1: another thing i want to ask is if 1 character gets a ban do all the others too? No, they're limited to the character it's applied to. Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?

I deciced to go ahead with it purely on the basis jagex quoted by the end of the year everyone will have to do it anyway and and I have to say I didn't think I'd realise how neat and tidy everything would be so I totally agree with you 100% I just hope nothing bad happens to all my accounts that have monster quallity time put into it because I'd be devastated if they do.

EDIT1: You're also right in saying it is far more easier to remember 1 email/ password then several by a mile especially for someone like myself who has a dreadful memory lol.
