Tricky at first but if your not worried about the boss timer you can always lead the giants away from the 3 fonts kill them elsewhere then start the boss fight doing all 3 fonts shuts off some of the more annoying mechanics and makes the fight alot easier

Stay out the pools and use the extra action button everytime it flys away on phase 3, only done 1 kill for reaper crew I'll learn the mechanics later after jagex has finished tweaking it over the next month or so, saves learning it twice with the current mechanics then again with the 101 changes

Normal mode seems to be quite entertaining, abeit too many pools to tiptoe across isn't my favorite mechanics. It is also nice to get T95 materials from a manageable normal mode boss, unlike Kerapac. I'll say normal mode seems pretty cool, reasonable, manageable and profitable.

However, hard mode seems to be too hard for not much better rewards. At least there should be some unique rewards from hard mode like different skins for the pet and different colors of titles similar to the Arch Glacor.

What would you say is the minimum gear level for normal mode? I'm currently using T70 Deathwarden and T80 weapons and can't seem to clear the damn Undead giant at the western node.

Almost everywhere I look over the social media, the content creators are taking the challenge and having funon hard mode, so I don't know what is the minimum gear level for normal mode. Maybe in a couple of weeks we will see some people making content on how to do Vorkath on normal mode with T70 or even no armors.

While T70 may even be good enough for normal mode, if you take out all the trash going through all 3 camps, I'll recommend upgrading your armors to T80 when you can make T80 weapons already.

So, for those of you that were also struggling with getting past Siege-Phase.

> Each undead giant has an entourage of similarly-stationary zombie knights, mages, and rangers - about four or so - nearby. Rushing the giant will cause the entire entourage guarding the places of power to attack you at once, and that can be a lot of damage being stacked on you for a pre-encounter skirmish. HOWEVER - if you struggle with DPS'ing the giants, you can individually take out the entourage members before attacking them, then camp Protect/Deflect Melee in order to fell the giants, disrupt the place of power, and move on to the next objective to rinse and repeat.

> AoE attacks can also divert the undead hordes that are spawning from the places of power and attacking Fort Forinthry as opposed to you - so it's also a good idea to kite the giants away from the places of power so that your attacks aren't inviting any otherwise-uninterested guests.

> Doing all of that, and utilizing things like passive healing and prayer regeneration from Excalibur/Elven Shard should keep most of your supplies ready to use during the encounter with Zemouregal and Vorkath.

---

Now, the issue with all of the above - is that turtling can really cut down on your kills-per-hour - and as lovely as Siege-Phase paints a narrative picture for what's happening the first few times around, it's only going to become old hat and cumbersome when you need to do something like say - grind out 100 kc for Zemouregal's Nexus.

A suggestion I would make to Jagex here:
Make it so that after a certain KC is reached, we should be able to skip Siege Phase like at Zammy, and you can toggle the mechanics like you can Arch-Glacor from the commemorative statue or War's/Max guild portals.
