My Deathwarden Armour is currently 70 and I'd love to updrage to 80 by completing
Kili's Knowledge VI
... but I'm hopeless at bossing.

The Wiki says that I "must deal damage to the boss and use the hammer within several seconds" but it doesn't mention that I have to use Necromancy, so...

Does anyone know if a Deathtouched Darts would work for the four required kills?

I know the original Godwars isn't considered difficult any more but I really am useless at bossing :P

I know I could just try it but I don't want to waste a kill count.

I don't think so as it will be range attack and yes you have to use necro attack. Doable with legacy with some food but revo would be better, can use level 85 ports magic set for more defence as most GWD use melee but use both necro weapons.

Edit: prayer will drain when you go to zammy, don't refill or use it or he will hit harder but bring anti poison.

Ah, thanks, I thought that might be the case =/
I've got the ports armour, that's not a bad idea, or would hybrid armour be better?

I bought the Subjugation set when it was announced that it would be used in Necromancy.

Hybrid caps out at 80, and ports is 85 and augments. No damage bonus for necro but I don't think there is a negative either (I could be wrong)

The level 70 necro should work fine and more than cover your needs but this is just if you extra worried.

Edid: if you wait till 99 then 4 pieces of subjagation will give you 20 cloth which will cover both level 80 and level 90 upgrades (need 19) or x2 if also making power set and tank set. I think price is going down if you don't want to wait and can make it early but will need more pieces.

"The spiritbound hammer must be charged from its uncharged form by defeating each of the four God Wars Dungeon 1 generals using Necromancy and then using the hammer on the altar located inside of the room."

Yes, you need to use Necromancy to kill the GWD1 bosses so DTD won't work.

AFAIK, DTD will work on some bosses with different phases for the achievemenbt, but not the single phase one like GWD1 bosses. One the other hand, I have heard we just need to deal enough damages to Telos with Necromancy and then we can DTD him to finish that achievement.

Thanks for all the tips guys, I managed it, all four in 90 minutes :D
Probably a lot slower than an experienced PvMer would do it, but I'm just happy to have got through it.

I'll be honest, it's the first time I've visited GodWars 1 since before EOC, and it got a whole lot easier than I remember.

I think I was worried due to many, many deaths there pre-EOC.

I'm guessing there are a lot of players who expect to instantly die when fighting any boss. Based on past experiences. I was in that same boat not long ago.

Then I randomly saw a video guide showing how to AFK GodWars 2 with a hardcore ironman.

If an ironman can AFK it then I should be able to get through with a yak full of food. My gear was still sad but it worked.

Then once you can kill a few bosses you naturally want to do daily reaper tasks. This lets you teleport right to the chosen boss and see how instant the death actually is. Some of them should never be played by anyone, but about half of them can be fun.

I also play on EOC using the legacy interface. All it does is add the ability bar above the chat. Everything else is the same familiar layout. It's awesome, especially when I see all the streamers have a NASA control center on their screen. No time for that.

That's wild to me that people are having difficulties with gw1 these days.
You can just get an inventory full of sharks and eat one whenever you lose some hp.

if you're really worried, try rocktails lol.
