I'm seriously wondering if the update actually missed adding golden cape shard as drop possibility. Been at it all day, done a lot on beach, done some farming, and I am now doing some agility training at digsite bikes. Haven't had a single shard all day.

I remember getting one shard every few days (maybe 10-20 hours total play time) in the Golden Party Hat Hunt. It may be similar odds this time. If it took only an hour to get a shard, this event wouldn't be about a month long.

The whole event is a grift to get people to sign up for Jagex account and purchase premier membership.

If you didn't do either of those two things then there is a limiter on the frequency of golden shards.
Essentially they want to make the event more painful for people who don't buy premier and don't do jagex accounts.

Jagex has been doing this stuff for years.

would also like to point out that my account was never hacked until they made me download steam to play runescape which I thought was bs at the time but literally couldn't log in without downloading steam
less then 1 week after downloading steam someone else had my password

if you join the jagex account management it will change your log in stuff permanently and you can never change it back or delete the account management

Just to let you know that torwards the end of this year, you will need to do it anyways if you want to even log in to RuneScape since Jagex will be ending support for the RuneScape accounts.

So might as well do it now so as to not have to worry about it when that point comes. As for now one will even get something out of it.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

my password and log in for that should be for that only
not for my in-game log in
i told them to cancel my account and refund my money
I DO NOT WANT MY STUFF CHANGED
FOR ANY REASON
