So yeah, the new markers that let you continue the AA quest are super obtrusive. They're the giant spinning blue markers that aren't subtle at all. I never thought I would find my point where I cared too much about immersion but I found it. The sparkly circles in other quests weren't subtle either but they weren't this bad.

Honestly I quite liked them. But then again I like the compass rose of the quest icon anyhow. I find the spinning blue icon far less obtrusive than the giant blue boxes on minimaps / screen if you have those enabled.

The idea as I'm sure you've guessed is we use these areas multiple times in different storylines. Now in the case of this quest if you've done every quest to date it's not needed. However going forward they need a way to distinguish you are here at this place at this time for X npc. That has different dialogue of locality based on the quest you're doing. In this case speaking with raptor.

Was it needed inside the fort to progress this story. I don't think so but meh....

sure its nice that you cant miss them (even tho i did when i went to the bar, being the walls were hiding it, lol) but there soooooooooo big and blue....
Logic, who needs it...
