Saw discussion in a different thread about getting a group to kill for one of the arbitrary boss tasks, in which it was discussed that as long as someone did damage with necro, it counted, whether it ended with dart or not.
Point you (and others) continue to miss is that not bossing =/= "low" combat.
Thought they fixed it that Death Dart did not count in any achievements. It did for a while and it got removed. I know people, who got fire capes with it.

Getting Fire Cape with DTD apparently wasn't anything new and was considered a waste 10 years ago. So a big nothing perhaps.
Remember, getting a fire cape unlocks several milestones. So you would think they would erase death dart allowing it to gain any rewards. Anyway, it is kind of sad that a lot of Maxers are still struggling with Fight Cave.
Could of sworn there was an update announced about it. But being easy scape who knows.

Not going to lie. While the fight caves were by far easier with Necromancy. I wasn't endeared to the thought process of needing to kill Jad for upgrading my gear. What saved my trip to Jad was the karumja glove 4 effect that gifts the 1 free respawn per day while in the fight caves. I was insta healed while battling Jad at one point. No matter how many times I slaughtered the healers he seemed to keep spawning more which was whittling down my resources trying to kill them, to kill him.

Build-up necrosis to 12 from the last few monsters (it will save), use any attacks (not finger of death) on jad for 10k damage then hit him with special attack and your 12 necrosis will hit for 30k = jad dead before healers even show up.
