The OP said he still has a window to repair so that isn't the problem.
First check the bank and if none in there I think the only thing to do is report it as a bug
Edit to add: I suppose its possible that the gathering buff prevented the ancient glass shards dropping. Maybe you'll have better luck today

That is why I suggested checking the bank first.

Of course OP should check their bank first, but that'll be his own "problem" if they already have 100 shards in their bank and inventory combined. In that case, definitely not a bug.

If OP insist this is a bug, they can then submit a bug report with the account having they think having the problem.
