1) They did announce you would lose challenge tokens ahead of time. It was in the Dev updates, as well as in the original post of the Hero Pass. They made it increase progression to the Hero Pass, as Tren mentioned., which makes sense because the entire challenge system was removed from the game at that time- why would they keep a currency in the game that is no longer tied to anything? They also did many, many warnings about the Mining and Smithing update - it was extremely well documented that your items would be turned into salvage, etc. with a lower alch value.

2) When the Hero Pass was developed and released they weren't planning on ever reverting it - it was supposed to be a better version of the Yak Track combined with Daily Challenges. Any progress on the Challenge system prior would have been removed from your account accordingly.

3) You mentioned the LTO event items, such as the ice cream. Not only are these items going away mentioned in every post about that event. but it's generally even mentioned in the chat when you login - it says stuff like "You have until xxxx date to use your ice cream before it will be converted to oddmints". They do this so you can't stack it this event and then get all the rewards for next event without actually doing anything then.

just a quick reply back ( just thought i would reply back and a bit of a clear up on the thread topics. :)


1) I Never saw anything saying we would lose out on challange tokens
i still feel it was unfair we lose our tokens
there are many things in game what might not be current
i still have many stuff from added years ago and come back now and again.
also i know they was no warning about our Rune items would go with mining and smithing.
i was the one who got a bug fix added so no one else lose there items
as at the time they wonder if the items maybe went on the floor without seeing -noone knew though maybe wrong cam angle ?
i had about 500 of each rune item and never got anything just went this all what anyone knew and me.

as This a very old problem this topic is old so we have to let the mining and smithing topic go as i had a thread open back then with the problem



2) updates can fail if players Don't like things i would be sure could easy have a go back plan in place also they Did as the challange thing is back they could of easy bring tokens back to They messed up more in Everyones eyes lets leave it as that.



3) i never saw anything about icecream going the only item i got a message ingame was about the Drinks going (again am sure Nothing Got said)
