But my point stands. Its a portable wilderness obelisk and should work anywhere in wilderness. Not very useful otherwise.

They are alchable now because we can get more than 1 of them. Your choice if you want to alch all of them.

I really like it as it helps a lot to move around various wildy locations. There is also no saying new content in the future won't make it even more useful. If you want to get to an obelisk from outside the wilderness, just do what you did prior to the update. Tele to the herb patch and run east, or tele to the lodestone and run west. This Doesn't add anything of significance as it stands.

The significant point is time saved to get to an obelisk from outside the Wilderness. First it takes seconds to teleport to Edge, then It takes like 30 seconds to go from Edge to the closest obelisk, plus there it takes another 10 seconds to operate, run to the center of it and wait for the teleportation. Why would you ever waste time teleing to Edgevilee just to tele to the wilderness? You can tele there from any bank. You don't even need to go to a bank.

Of course I can teleport directly from my bank now with the portable obelisk. That's why it is very useful, a direct rebuttal to what the person I replied to wrote"

Why alch it if it is the only one a person has?
