Hi everyone,
I would like to know what other players think about considering Artio, Spindel & Calvar'ion in the boss kill count. As far as I know, Jagex only consider their counterparts (Callisto, Venenatis & Vet'ion) for the bossing kill counts.

Is it something Jagex could consider as a future update? Thanks! :)

Absolutely not in RS3. Post EOC Bosses are real bosses with different real mechanics and challenges. In RS3, even many slayer mobs are more challenging than the crap OSRS called "bosses" and we have elite version of these slayer mobs too but we don't call them bosses in RS3.

Calling trash mobs bosses will cheapen RS3 and give the false impression to players, especially new ones, it is a crap game. It should never happen in RS3. If there is a change in the boss kill count needed to make in RS3, they should remove Chaos Elemental from the RS3 boss list as he is just a trash mob TBH.

Old School Wilderness bosses are -not- slayer mobs, regardless how you feel of them, Dilbert. They are singular creatures with more lore than your typical -or- superior slayer creature that usually drop far more valuable loot and bolster more mechanics (yes, within Old School's combat system's restraints) than a slayer creature, normal or superior, would.

In this case, the bosses OP mention here are weaker versions of Venenatis, Vet'ion, and Callisto that are located in singles+ Wilderness. The lower combat level and more forgiving combat area offer lower drop rates than their bigger further-flung counterparts as well as more accessibility, in regards to both the threat of Pkers and the stats of the monsters themselves.

---

If you do happen to come back around, OP, Old School RuneScape's collection log will list both the bigger monster -and- its easier counterpart (i.e. Callisto -and- Artio) as a pair of monsters because the monsters will have the same unique drops - the only difference there being that Callisto has a higher chance of dropping its unique items than Artio does.

Once you've clicked on the tab, the game will have tallies you will have killed both Callisto as well as how many times you've killed Artio.

This would mean that all monsters are already being accounted for in the collection log, but both kill counts will be listed under Callisto's tab (if you were searching for Artio's KC.)
