So... Armadyl is still perched atop the North-east Outpost of Stormguard Citadel and can be spoken to. Maybe remove him and update the general dialogue across the game to reflect the

The archaeology dig sites by now actually are fully abandoned - the stormguard citadel you see is the state from two years ago - alongside this very instance of armadyl you're talking to. A lot of content in the game doesn't reflect the current state of the storyline - otherwise you'd be entirely prevented to engage with it. Overworld Senntisten fully ignores the events of Extinction, Twilight of the Gods and Aftermath - despite you were in there for those three quests. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

That's right. Game mode and story mode are always two different beasts in a multiplayer game. There is no way to sync up what different players who join the games at different time with different in game progress see.

I killed Elvarg 21 years ago, but it is just impossible to remove Elvarg from the game when players who are in Tutorial Island still need to kill him.

Where is Armadyl after Sliske's end Game? He's not on his perch. Anyone know? I want to give him that Aviansie dreamcoat

I tried that and I can talk to him but he won't take that Aviansie Dreamcoat. It's for an achievement

Have you started to replay Sliske's Endgame or other quests like Desperate Measures? You may need to complete them first, especiially Sliske's Endgame replay.
