There is no "white" or "black" on Gielinor. Simply no such ethics.

Maybe you appears "white" from your forum avatar but in game, it depends on the settings of different players, you may actually be yellow, chocolate or even some may see
purple skin
on you.

The cover art shows Adrasteia as white, but her character in game is Black. Why?

Artwork is basically concept. What goes into the game is end product. The two do not always match perfectly.

(And FWIW I would say that the cover art actually shows her as dark-skinned, neither white nor black, but that doesn't diminish your point.)

I'm not sure what their intention is, but to me those are done in the style of comic book covers.

It might not exactly depict the events taking place inside the comic (or game), but it looks really cool. Sometimes cartoony, sometimes realistic, not to be taken seriously other than for promotional value.

She was drawn in that pose to show that the succession is happening/happened, probably a mistake by the artist who didn't check other sources for the canon skin tone.

What canon skin tone when we have the Makeover Mage since day 1 of RSC and since then we even have added
Purple Skin

NPCs in the RSC era were very "white", but when RS2 came many of them were getting sun tanned. For instance:

How come nobody either never noticed or pointed out RS2 and OSRS didn't check other sources for the canon skin tone?

She's...not?

If you're talking about the artwork from December 5th, she's at best lighter skinned. She's def not white tho.

Edit:

And even at that, it's more lighting :') Regardless though, at best she's lighter skinned in the cover art, not white.
