why is it people who arent comp or comp t only get three smoke color options...? red,green and blue at that..you couldnt of been nice for once and let us have the option to change ours to whatever color to? bad enough we have a gap between the colors now we cant even have a color choice...disapointing.

They initially even said this feature would be comp only. No yellow or golden particles in order to prevent trimmed fakers. I think this is a fair middle ground, which encourages progression, also towards trimmed if you absolutely want to have those golden particles. Being able to use particles elevates it over regular max for that matter, but as regular comp is more impressive than regular max, master comp should be this this compared to master max as well.

Being able to disable the particles would certainly be a neat addition though, if the available colours mess up with the scheme of your cape. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

I dont want golden or white particles. my point being why does master max only get 3 color choices. as if getting 120 all is a walk in the park. ive gotten almost 200m all and still have no ability to comp due to not having the best rng for drops needed or patients/skills to do combat req.

I don't think RS3 ever said they can't give other capes more visual options. However, it makes far more sense to give the most prestigious capes more visual superiority.

We need to prototype new inventions first too. Consider the recent cape visual updates the building blocks for similar future wardrobe, and not just cape let alone Max Cape, updates.

Rome wasn't built in a day. It is wise for a game designed to last for at least the next 20 years, if not forever to build foundations that work on all kinds of content, small and big... instead of just making illusions and smoke that only look "good" for a couple of weeks. :)

Be happy you can do anything with the particles at least. There is virtually NO difference between the Comp version and the Trimmed Comp Version, very annoying actually. you can even tell by looking between the two if someone is regular comp or trim (which is SUBSTANTIALLY harder BTW!) the only difference is very very faint gold trim around the details of the cape which is my opinion doesnt even look that great. They really should have made something more obvious between regular master max comp and master max comp (t). very disappointing.

So if someone who wants the firecape cosmetics on their <fill-in-their-favorite-cape-here> then Jagex have to waste their time on that instead of creating customizable content for all kinds of players like what they are doing it now? Of course, wise developers will do what the RS3 devs are doing with their Master Cape Customization prototype for all kinds of possibilities for present and future players.

Of course, red, green and blue represent the colors of Zamorak, Guthix and Saradomin. They are the colors of the classic Runescape gods. We can have more colors like purple, cyan and such for all kinds of Achievement Capes later in RS3 too because we have more gods.

We need to walk before we can run. As long as RS3 is walking, they will be only further and further ahead from the losers who are only crawling with no customizations and ugly graphics.
