I don't think the sound changes. I just did another scan clue to test it. The sound I am talking about is when you first click the clue and it starts making sound.

From there it adds a beep when you get nearby, and the final step is to add the arrow and an 'excited' sound when it is within close range.

In that case, the first sound serves no actual purpose, other than to tell me the scan is active. Which I am painfully aware of. That sound can be deleted, removed, replaced, etc.

Just keep the beep.

As the other user on this thread wrote:

"like many other new changes to the game, the sound will be something that we quickly become accustomed to".

Perception of audio visual features on all WIndows apps are different to different users. Some may find there is no difference between sound output volumes of 50 and 75, some do.

You may notice the difference a little later when you become accustomed to the new update, or if you still don't then you can just treat it as no change.

So what is the difference? You keep teasing it. I have gone into great detail. The original version wanted us to be a doctor listening for the increased rhythm of the beats.

Now we have multiple layers of sound, and only a couple of them serve any purpose.

The first sound is a disaster. If the beats of that sound change, I am unable to detect the change. Probably because it interferes with my brain waves.

You are implying that sound does change, and it has something to do with increasing the volume?

What part of it changes? The pulsing beat, the blaring siren? Something else?

I told you the difference is the difference in perception among different players on the same change. I even gave you the example of audio volume of 50 and 75. If you are one of those who don't see (or actually hear) the difference, then you just don't. It is personal perception sound effects and ambient sounds todifferent players, it is really nothing to argue because we don't have the ears of the other players and Jmods.
