Sure, someone who told me the 2 days extension gave them an Ensouled Mask. Good for Jagex and the players.

However, they no longer work because it's now Nov 6th and the Event ended.
Why is that? What was the point of putting a 3-day post-event expiration date on any of that stuff if they all actually expire at 23:59 Nov 5th — and not 23:59 Nov 8th ? Totally unnecessary.

Although, during this Event, I did feel a good sense of community with the regulars I run into here on my home world but with whom I don't ordinarily interact with.

P.S. I put in a bug report about the Gobstoppers just in case it's a glitch.

This was forums at it's best lol.
It was not my thread, it was all of you adding to it, voicing your concerns and talking it out that may have gotten the attention of Jagex.
This was a group effort that showed how well the forums community works to help get things done.

Mene, it is not always about the money. I am by far not poor. I bought the rewards so I would have them, to keep not resell because I LOVE the holiday stuff.
But not everyone can afford to buy them.
You did not understand the thread, Noone was salty about it, we simply had an open discussion over how we felt about the event :-) .
Thank you for your input as well.

Looking forward to one of my 2 fave events of the year ~ Christmas :-D !!!

For users having issues with pumpkin smashing, this video should made on the very first day of the event when most players didn't have a clue may be very helpful:

The content creator smashed 13 pumpkins even when they ran the wrong routes and paused to type for comments a couple of times during the events. With the 5 pumpkins rewarded at the completion of the party, they got 18 pumpkins or 450 H'oddments in 3 minutes and 6 seconds.
