What a lovely choice.
Throw 1B GP into the incinerator or risk getting scammed.
"Freedom."
Who can scam you now when you have the choice not to be "scammed". Even if you choose to trade in person, you can still look up GE price for reference.
You can't do that easily until Jagex have updated the GE pages ability to deal with the new max cash limit.
Currently all the top group of most valuable trades are Minimum = 2.1B Average = 2.1B Maximum = 2.1B Change 0
So that's gonna be a lot of help for stuff trading for more.

Understandably it probably will take a little bit of time to update website features. There is no reason they can't show us the more precise GE prices on the website Grand Exchange feature later though, it is the purpose of such a feature anyway.
1. You might have me mistaken for someone else. I actually think Pkers are one of the most underserved communities in RS3, and have staunchly defended PvP content when it is able to be discussed here. You've personally slapped my back for it before. PvPers absolutely belong in Rs3 - and I wish Jagex would come to see it a bit more than they do now.
2. "Not the biggest fan of" and "hate" are too completely different things. I have friends who are high rollers and while we disagree on how players should engage with the economy, my view is influenced on these rare items once being reasonably attainable simply by playing the game and working hard. Those prices are now so high that we have people like you who bandy about
billions
of GP as a reasonable amount of disposable tax. If most of the people who spend that much money agree that the tax is fair to avoid scamming, then I'll just politely disagree and that will be the end of it, but if other people who are able to afford these items
also
think the tax is too high and discourages people from buying from the GE (which would discourage buyers in general because everyone already knows buying p2p is a thing.) - then maybe it's worth looking into. As someone who is so down in coins that it wouldn't matter even if there was a change, I won't deny that having the rares market more accessible would be nice. You don't see too many "Road to Partyhat" series anymore.
3. Even good PvMers are apparently spending 10 hours of gameplay to make the 1b you are saying is perfectly fine to drop for the tax. That's a lot of RuneScape to just lose gp like that.

Are you posting to the right thread? How does pvp have to do with GE tax on high value trades? We have pvp activities and pkers in RS3, but they are for most part not the billions gp staking type anyway. I don't think they stake phats and such.

Its a response to My Lil Buddy, Dilbert. A majority of the post is on topic.
Nobody mentioned staking.
It won't matter who your response is for. I just want to know if pvp has anything to do with GE tax on high value items. Apparently your answer is no so no comment on that.
All apologies, you're right, I'd mistaken you for somebody else.
You're actually 1 of the few cool ppl left on these rs forums, and further more have made several in-depth posts regarding pkn pre-wildy reborn upd8 and post upd8. Shame Jammerflex hadn't read ur posts tbh.
Pardon the l8 reply, irl shenanigans b time consuming, but u already kno.
EZ COME, EZ GO
Yall have a gr8 day.
Sorry again, and btw how's every1 liking the GE tax/max cash upd8?

I am actually loving it. I have always been wanting to buy and sell over max cash stuff on the GE.
The most significant update is we don't need spirit shards for any sort of trading anymore.
Perhaps the more significant feature of this update is we all now know RS3 has the advance technologies other successful games have in modern days. It bodes extremely well for RS3's next 22 years.
I'm glad u like it cousin, wat u got planned this weekend?
I don't have any plan this weekend regarding GE, GE Tax an High Value Trades whatsoever, and this is how perfect this update is. It is an extremely high value QoL update enhancing our trading over max value experience, and yet the best part of it is nobody feels like they are compelled to make any changes and it works so seamlessly and effortlessly... no end of the world RS3 shutdown... no duplicate items... no indefinitely postponement due to unannounced technical issues... no rollbacks... How nice!
