Hermod, the WORST boss in RS

Hermod has to be the most annoying boss to grind. I can get behind making him tanky so you learn dps. But the fact that I’m order to get all 28 plates, you must intensely focus on the game is excruciating. The immunity at 54 seconds is such a hassle and keeps you from being able to lightly afk. And then don’t get me started on the Hermod plates that are in no way shape or form 1/10. Please make this more bearable.

i see you mistaking s "bad boss" with s "bad drop %". they arnt the same thing

hermod isnt tanky and is quite easy, being hes on par with gw1 bosses. i was getting him down quite easy after finishing the quest in tir 50/60 gear and im nowhere close to a pvmer (its one part of the game i got out of the way to dodge. any quest boss i can cheese, be it by kitting, getting the boss stuck, a deathtouch dart insta kill or doing it in a group i wil ltry and do it that way)

for his move set. all you got to do is learn to dodge hes attack that has a massive wind up and kill the adds when they spawn. if your havin a hard time having a ghost, prayers and backup food help alot



as for his drops im 100% with you. i got to the mid 30's/low 40s before i got the drumbstick and had enough plates to get a full tir 70 power amour set. im farming him now for the tir 80 and know its ganna be a long and boring slog . only did 10ish kills and didnt get any plates (game seems to know when im aiming for them, lol). they should really buff there drop rates, even more so on a QUEST ITEM and a bit more gear upgrade item (1 in 3 sounds far)



so again, bad boss, no. bad drop %, yes Logic, who needs it...

@OP Follow the guide above but run on fast speed not fastest. Manually summon ghost and zombie just before the fight starts and click the ghost again for double damage. SS the damage and DO NOT move to avoid the hits, ghost will also heal you so won't need food. Should be getting 35-40 second kills. (In tank armour)

If you run on fastest speed, then adrenaline bar is not always full when the fight starts and your summons from the last round won't be dead so messes up the kills.

Do not put ghost/zombie on revo bar as it will waste adrenaline after the fight starts. Only use skelly on bar.

I honestly think the boss is not bad.

The drops are pretty great to my opinion.
Why you may ask?

Well first off all you need a item form it to upgrade your own armor and the boss does not drop insane money and xp related things.

The problem is not this boss but other bosses drop waaaay to much things.
