I think this is the idea actually. If you look at Warforge, it actually has two floors. We go down the spiral staircase to go to the bottom instead of climbing the same old cookie cutter stiars to a new map.

We have had spiral staircases and 3 floors in POH for about 18 years so it's nothing new.

Climbing a stair to a new level with the screen of the next screen is not 3D. There is no interaction with the objects on two different levels.

When we can telegrab an item on the 2nd floor when we are on the first floor, like in the entrance to the Zuk dungeon, then it is 3D gameplay.

RSC is definitely 2D, and technically what we are seeing in RS3 now is not exactly 3D, but more like 2.5D. We aren't 3D yet like Skyrim but it is the objective of Runescape Remastered, and apparently where RS3 is heading too.

We are talking about recent game updates, including all our player owned Fort going up the 3rd Dimensional ladder. I believe most of the players in this thread can see our Fort is moving up the 3D Z-axis with a second deck, as well as comments on going to below ground level. We are not talking about RSC like you. Sounds like that's part of the grander plan of the mastermind behind the Necromancy. Zemouregal was just there to set up an illusive undead attacks outside the Fort to draw our attention there, while giving his partners in crime the opportunity to launch global attacks on different places.
